The shop looks a bit run down, but the food is delicious and the portions are big.The マーボラーメン and the 餃子 is fantastic.

Local chinese restaurant in Shimokitazawa, Tokyo.Here is famous for Pink colored fried rice.(Not fancy food !! Don't worry. Just fried rice, made by Red colored roast pork. Red pork and White rice causes Pink color looking.)Every foods are good, especially Fried rice, Ramen noodle(named Edokko ramen), and Gyoza dumpling.Almost of chinese restaurant in Japan are localized, so you could enjoy Japanese chinese food here.Mintei is one of the best one, so recommend it !!

Definitely will come back to this restaurant if I visit Shimokidazawa again.

The ramen was very tasty, plentiful and filling. I could've gone back to the hotel for a nap afterwards, but we had more trekking and exploring to do. Thank you for the great food!

Mintei is very unassuming and a bit rough from the outside, but don’t let that deter you. The food is no joke. The ramen is delicious and comes in large bowls. There are also many Chinese side dishes that are equally tasty. The highlight is the pink fried rice, made so by the red chashu pork cooked in it. For the quality and portion size the prices here are a steal. The best spot for Chinese style ramen/Gyoza/fried rice. There are two floors and the second floor has communal floor seating.
